The joy of a self-catering holiday is being able to do what you want, when you want and how you want and not be tied to the schedule of an hotel. However, sometimes you don't want to do it all yourself, or you'd like a little pampering, or to expand your knowledge of French or to learn something new, such as wine tasting.

We are delighted to be able to offer our guests a range of custom-tailored services that range from the basic (pre-arrival grocery shopping) through to the eclectic - a wine master class conducted for you at Les Terraces sur la Dordogne. Please see below for some ideas (there are many other things that we can do to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. If you don't see it here, just ask!)

Pre-arrival provisioning: When you've arrived at the end of a long day of travel often the last thing that you want to be thinking of is grocery shopping, especially when you're not familiar with the language & area. Obtaining groceries can be a particular challenge if you arrive on a Sunday, as all of the shops are closed from 11:45 on Sunday mornings! If you fax or email us a list of requirements we can ensure that your shopping is sourced and put away for you so that all you have to do is come in and put your luggage away.
Welcome meal: How nice is it to arrive and know that you've nothing to do other than pour yourself a beverage of your choice and slide something into the oven? This is eminently possible. All you need to do is tell us what you'd like to eat and we'll take care of making it for you. What could be easier?
Wine Master Classes: *Les Terraces* is enviably situated in the middle of fabulous wine country. You may be thinking about visiting a vineyard or two and enjoying a tour of the vines and sampling their wines. If so, you might really appreciate the opportunity to have a wine tasting class with our in-house expert. Having enjoyed a master class she will be happy to make recommendations in which vineyards you would enjoy based on the wines that you preferred during your tasting session.
Massage Work, travel, life... they are all immense stressors. Ensure that your holiday is as enjoyable as possible by relieving the body with a wonderful therapeutic massage. We work with Serena Hannant of Sérénité Elixir to provide massages either in the privacy of Les Terraces, or at her dedicated facility a 5-minute from the house.
French Lessons: Whether you're a complete novice who aspires to be able to order something in a bar without feeling a fool, or someone with a passable proficiency in French, a one-on-one or small group lesson can be very good indeed, especially when done in the privacy of your own home. If you'd like to improve your French language skills we'd be happy to arrange for one of our tutors to come and work with you at a time that suits you.
Event/Special Occasion Planning: Have you scheduled your travel to coincide with a special event, such as a birthday, anniversary or wedding? If so, we would be happy to help you make any arrangements that you might like to ensure that it goes according to plan. This service can range from making reservations at a restaurant, to ordering flowers, arranging a special outing, such as hot-air ballooning, or catering your celebration for you at *Les Terraces*.
